Scar treatment

Removal of unsightly scars and treatment of keloids at the Cannes Mougins aesthetic center
Some scars can be embarrassing in appearance or location. A scar may simply be enlarged, or have a different color from the surrounding skin. Scars can also be pathological, giving rise to the formation of keloids, the treatment of which is more complex.
It is often possible to improve the appearance of scars through surgical intervention. Management of these lesions will depend on the number, location and type of scar to be treated. Keloid scars require specific treatment, which may sometimes include radiotherapy sessions on the operated scar.
The aim of this treatment is to improve the cosmetic appearance of these scars and make them as inconspicuous as possible. Cortisone injections or even a laser session may be required during surgery.
