Correction of unsightly scars and treatment of keloids at the Cannes Mougins aesthetic centre

Some scars can be unsightly due to their appearance or location. A scar may simply be enlarged or have a different colour from the surrounding skin. A scar can also be pathological and lead to the formation of a keloid, which is more complex to treat.

It is often possible to improve the appearance of scars through surgery. The treatment of these lesions will depend on the number, location and type of scar to be treated. Keloid scars require specific treatment, which can sometimes involve radiotherapy sessions on the operated scar.

This treatment aims to improve the cosmetic appearance of these scars and make them as discreet as possible. It is sometimes necessary to combine surgery with cortisone injections or even laser treatment during the procedure.
