Dermatological surgery for skin lesions at the Cannes Mougins aesthetic center

Dermatological surgery treats benign lesions such as moles, cysts or lipomas, as well as cancerous lesions such as carcinomas or melanomas.

The removal of benign or malignant skin lesions can sometimes require a complex surgical procedure. Once the lesion has been removed, it may be necessary to reconstruct it using reconstructive surgery techniques. These techniques use skin close to the lesion (local flap) or at a distance (skin graft) to treat the loss of substance following removal of the lesion. The aim of these different techniques is to replace the skin removed, while minimizing scarring.

Various reconstruction techniques are available. During the consultation, the surgeon will explain the surgical procedure to be carried out and tell you if a reconstructive surgery technique is necessary.

Dermatological surgery is usually performed under local anaesthetic, with hospitalization limited to a few hours. In some cases, even small lesions can be removed at Dr. Ihrai's practice.
